You’ll be collected from the airport, and we can arrange accommodation before the tour starts for an additional cost.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and proceed to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok Town. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive before checking in and enjoying lunch at Zebra Plains Camp. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for another game drive, returning to the lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the camp. Prepare for an adventurous full-day game drive by carrying lunch boxes. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset, with an optional visit to a Maasai village, where you can pay on the spot. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Zebra Plains Camp.
The Masai Mara, a hilly and fertile region, is characterized by its humid climate and is traversed by the Mara and Talek rivers, which are home to crocodiles and hippos. These rivers flow year-round, their banks covered in thick forest that gradually transitions into bush and grassland. The abundance of water and plentiful food supply make the Masai Mara, an extension of the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park, home to the highest population of wild animals in Africa. From July to November, witness the dramatic spectacle of the annual migration of vast herds of gnus, antelopes, and zebras.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, you can opt for a scenic boat ride, followed by lunch and check-in at Lake Naivasha Resort. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the resort.
Lake Naivasha is a stunning freshwater lake, bordered by thick papyrus. The lake and its surroundings are abundant in natural beauty, with fertile soils and a reliable water supply making this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural areas. The lake is encircled by forests of the yellow-barked Acacia Xanthophlea, also known as the yellow fever tree. These forests are teeming with birdlife, making Naivasha a world-class birding destination. The lake’s waters attract a diverse range of wildlife. Giraffes meander among the acacias, buffaloes wallow in the swamps, and Colobus monkeys can be heard calling from the treetops, while the lake’s large hippo population rests in the shallows during the day.
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. At 3:30 pm, embark on your first game drive. Amboseli is renowned as the best place in Africa to observe free-ranging elephants up close, along with other wildlife species. The park’s ecosystem is primarily savannah grassland, spanning the Kenya-Tanzania border.
Additional attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain. Although Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, the best views are from Amboseli National Park, which is strategically situated at the mountain’s foot. From the prehistoric site of Observation Hill, you can witness a magnificent sunset over Kilimanjaro. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Oltukai Lodge.
Start your day with an early sunrise game drive at Amboseli National Park. Afterward, enjoy breakfast before driving to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, have a late lunch, followed by a city tour and some souvenir shopping. Finally, you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure.
